Would you like to create your own dreamcatcher? Read the following and
find out how to make it!
You need:
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- String
- Beads
- Feathers
- Crayons or paint
Steps:
1. Take your paper plate and ask an adult to help you cut out the centre of the plate. You only need the ring.
2. Use crayons or paint to decorate the paper plate ring. You can make patterns or just use lots of colours!
3. Use a hole punch to make holes around the inside of the ring.
4. Take a long piece of string. Tie one end to any hole. Thread beads onto the string as you weave it in and out of the holes to make a web. Tie the end to the hole.
5. Punch three holes at the bottom of the ring. Cut three pieces of string. Tiea feather to the end of each string. Then, tie the other ends of the strings to the holes.
6. Punch one hole at the top of the ring. Cut a string, thread it through the hole, and tie the ends together. This is for hanging.
7. Hang the dreamcatcher in your bedroom.
