Betty is in the kitchen making a birthday cake for Babington. She’s got the cake but needs decorations! She writes a quick list for Bob:

Shopping List:
1. Colourful Sprinkles
2. Birthday Candles
3. Chocolate Drops
4. Strawberries

‘Bob, could you please go to the supermarket and buy some bits for me?’ Betty asks.

‘Sure thing!’ Bob replies.

Bob heads to the supermarket. He sees a massive SALE sign in the snack aisle.

Bob starts loading his basket with bags of crisps, boxes of biscuits, and even some popcorn. He’s so excited that he forgets all about Betty’s shopping list.

Bob returns home happily, his arms full of shopping bags. ‘Look! There’s a sale on snacks! Isn’t this brilliant?’

Betty checks the bags. ‘But where are the decorations?’ she asks.
Bob blushes. ‘Oops, I forgot!’

Betty shakes her head and sighs, but then she smiles. ‘We can use some of these snacks to decorate the cake. Let’s get creative!’

They use crisps, biscuits, and popcorn to decorate the cake.

When Babington sees his cake, he laughs and claps his hands. ‘It’s the best cake ever!’

Everyone agrees that the cake is unique and scrumptious, and that the delightful birthday party is a hit!
