Stonehenge is a very mysterious place in England. It’s also one of the most unique puzzles in the world.
Imagine standing in a big field, and in front of you are huge stones standing in a circle. This is Stonehenge! These giant stones are even older than your ancestors!
Nobody knows why these stones are there or who put them there. Some people think they were used for special ceremonies a long, long time ago. Others believe it was a place for telling time using the sun.
The stones are gigantic! They’re taller than a double-decker bus and so heavy that even 100 people couldn’t lift just one. It’s a real mystery how people could have moved them long ago.
When you visit Stonehenge, you might feel like you’ve travelled back in time. You can walk around and look at the stones from all sides. Some people like to imagine they’re time travellers. They try to unlock the secrets of these ancient stones.
Even though we might not know all the stories behind Stonehenge, it’s a unique and interesting place. It makes us think about the people who lived thousands of years ago and the amazing things they could do.
